So, what will I be doing?
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant you will be joining the Finance team in a distinctive, ambitious, and trusted manufacturing company that is committed to making great food the right way. Forever. Working closely with the Purchase Ledger Supervisor you will be responsible for looking after all aspects of your section of the purchase ledger accounts. You will match, post and pay all invoices in a timely and accurate manner. You will also produce monthly supplier statement reconciliations to ensure all creditor balances are fairly stated.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Registering and inputting non-stock and stock invoices onto the Dynamics system for a selection of suppliers
2. Matching all stock and non-stock invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes as appropriate
3. Registering and posting all approved retailer invoices and journal the invoices into the retailer contra account ready for deduction
4. Generating weekly/monthly supplier payments and matching those payments to invoices on the suppliers' accounts solve invoice and supplier queries in an efficient and timely manner
5. Reconciling the monthly supplier balances to statements received for all major suppliers
6. Assisting other members of the purchase ledger team with their workload
7. Posting supplier invoices for other group companies
8. Assisting in the preparation of purchase
Hours: part time role over 3 - 4 days 24 hours for 3 days 32 hours for 4 days

10. Ability to work as part of a team within a fast-moving business
11. Great numeracy and literacy skills
12. Ability to demonstrate commitment to meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy
13. Have a positive, can-do attitude
14. Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics is desirable
