We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our CAMHS team. This post is located within our Care Experienced Young Peoples service, and the successful applicant will have suitable experience working with young people who have experienced developmental trauma. The post holder will take a lead role in the service's ongoing developments and support delegated tasks within wider CAMHS.
We support children and young people aged 0 to 18 years and their families, offering highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions, often involving multi-agency collaboration.
Based in Argyll and Bute, we seek high-calibre clinicians who value work-life balance, are creative, responsive, and work well in small teams.
This role offers a mix of clinical work, supervision, consultation, and service development opportunities. We have strong links with national bodies, training courses, and offer placements for trainees from Doctoral, EPP, and MSc courses.

Candidates must hold a Post Graduate Doctoral level (or equivalent) degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology, be registered with the HCPC, and have experience working with children and young people with complex issues. Experience or training in eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, or trauma is advantageous.
