We are now seeking a Principal Cyber Security Consultant to join our growing team. This is a client-facing role where you will act as the senior consultant on major engagements, delivering high-impact advisory services and technical solutions. Responsibilities:
Act as the senior point of contact and principal consultant for major proactive engagements, including Security Posture Reviews, Cloud Security Assessments, Cyber Due Diligence, and complex Cyber Engineering projects.
Lead the delivery of threat-oriented proactive services, such as Compromise Assessments, Threat Hunts, Tabletop Exercises, and Crisis Simulations.
Support the sales function by defining service scopes, creating proposals, and articulating the value of proactive security investments to prospective clients.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of client engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard, while proactively addressing customer challenges.
Contribute to the development of new services and the continuous improvement of existing methodologies, ensuring proactive offerings remain relevant and effective.
Provide resources and expertise to support the Reactive Services team during periods of high demand for incident response.
Skills / Must have:
- Demonstrable experience managing the full lifecycle of complex technical security engagements, from pre-sales and scoping to final delivery and issue resolution.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience supporting sales teams, developing service propositions, and contributing to business growth.
- Deep technical knowledge across multiple proactive security domains, including:
- Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Security Architecture and Engineering (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Zscaler, Fortinet)
- Security assessments, particularly Threat Hunts, Compromise Assessments and Vulnerability Assessments

Salary:
£75,000 - £90,000 base salary per annum
