Job Description
The Junior Data Analyst (Finance) - HYBRID
* Support the production of reporting of current/historical activity and all month-end and post-month end financial activities.
* Providing a range of product level analysis to support discrepancies and support decision making.
* Develop strong relationships with key internal and external personnel, including procurement, category sourcing and Finance teams.
* Tracking and reporting supplier/manufacturer data & rebates
* Understanding available data sources and how these integrate with each other.
* Ability to understand/model complex commercial rebate & pricing structures - summarising findings for varying audiences (Finance, Account Management, Suppliers & Clients)
* Understanding the business commercial model & how our procurement deals integrate with it.
* Monitoring & auditing own workings / outputs for accuracy and relevance
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Data Analyst (Finance) - HYBRID should have the following skills & experience:Essential:
* Strong attention to detail, problem solving, initiative and reconciliations.
* High numeric and analytical skills and diligence
* Comfortable developing and working with complex spreadsheets.
* Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically.
* Ability to analyse, evaluate and present information concisely.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good organisational skills
* Confidence to make informed decisions.
* Experience working in databases, managing manual data feeds, and developing in Sql is advantageous.
* Exposure to systems such as SQL (Access) & SAP
NOTE - Graduates with a numerical degree, and some form of office based work experience, will also be considered.
