We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu creation, team leadership, and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Duties
* Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation.
* Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality before serving.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
* Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership.
* Extensive culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
