Qualifications needed:
1. Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
2. CCT or equivalent
3. Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
4. Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it
5. Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST

We are currently recruiting to a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Ashford CAMHS Community Team, based at Lenworth Clinic, 329 Hythe Road, Ashford, Kent TN24 0QE.
You will join another substantive Consultant, and wte Specialty Doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Job responsibilities
You will be expected to:
22. Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Ashford.
23. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
24. Work directly with young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals
25. Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:14, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement.
26. Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
27. Work alongside another CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists and wte CAMHS Specialty Doctor within the service.
28. Share supervision requirements for the Specialty doctor in the service.
29. Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
