Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are seeking a skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join a Day Centre in Harrow, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Complex Needs. This role is ideal for someone who already has hands-on experience in social care and is confident supporting individuals with complex needs, behaviours that challenge, and varying levels of independence. You will be part of a professional and supportive team focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred support within a structured day service environment. About the Role As an experienced Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who attend the Centre to participate in meaningful activities, develop life skills, and maintain independence. You will also support the wider team by setting a strong example of good practice and high-quality care. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs Support individuals who may display behaviours that challenge using positive and proactive approaches Encourage and promote independence, dignity, and choice Facilitate and support daily activities, social engagement and skill development within the centre such as therapeutic sessions as well as recreational and educational activities Assist with personal care and mobility support where required Maintain accurate records, support notes, and risk assessments Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe, structured and supportive environment About You We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism Confident working with complex needs and behaviours that challenge Knowledgeable about person-centred approaches and safeguarding Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Comfortable supporting a structured activity-based service Essential Requirements Previous experience working as a Support Worker in a Day Centre Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or Complex Needs Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding practices Flexibility to work across service needs Desirable Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care Experience within day service settings Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or similar approaches Why Join Us?
