Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 – dependent on experience

Role Overview

We are looking for a Content Marketing Executive / Senior Content Marketing Executive to deliver high-quality, performance-led content across digital, offline, B2C and B2B channels. You will support the development and execution of content strategies across SEO, email marketing and social media, producing engaging content that drives brand awareness, engagement, lead generation and commercial results.

Working closely with Marketing Executives, designers, internal stakeholders and external agencies, you will contribute to content planning and execution, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across all touchpoints. The role combines creativity with data-driven thinking, requiring a strong understanding of audience behaviour, search intent and performance analytics to continually optimise content effectiveness.

You will also play a key role in improving content processes, maintaining brand standards and supporting best practice in copywriting, SEO and digital marketing across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

B2C (Castle Green Homes)

* Develop and deliver engaging content across digital and offline channels to support lead generation, brand awareness and sales
* Write high-quality, persuasive copy for websites, landing pages, brochures, social media, email campaigns and advertising
* Lead SEO strategy and execution, including keyword research, on-page optimisation and content planning to drive organic visibility, traffic and conversions
* Plan, create and manage email marketing campaigns, including customer journeys, promotions and development launches
* Support new development launches with compelling, audience-focused messaging
* Analyse performance using GA4, Google Search Console and SEO tools, reporting on insights and recommending improvements
* Produce clear, detailed briefs for external agencies and manage delivery to ensure alignment with strategy, brand standards and performance targets
* Collaborate with Graphic Designers and Marketing Executives to ensure consistent brand voice, messaging and creative execution

B2B (Group, Partnerships & Strategic Land)

* Create, manage and optimise SEO-led website content across Group, Partnerships, Strategic Land and Carden Group platforms
* Plan and deliver targeted email campaigns to support B2B engagement, lead nurturing and relationship building
* Produce professional copy for planning proposals, case studies and corporate communications
* Ensure all messaging aligns with Group strategy and commercial objectives
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather insight and translate it into clear, effective and engaging content
* Research and develop new content topics based on audience intent, search demand and commercial opportunity

Social Media Management

* Develop and execute organic social media strategies aligned with brand, campaign and commercial objectives
* Lead on social media content planning and strategy, working closely with Marketing Executives to support content creation and execution
* Plan, create and schedule engaging content across relevant platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
* Write compelling social copy tailored to platform, audience and campaign goals
* Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver visually engaging social assets
* Monitor social media performance, engagement and audience growth, optimising based on insights
* Manage community engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
* Identify trends, content opportunities and new platform features to enhance reach and engagement
* Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all social channels

General

* Maintain a consistent, professional tone of voice across all communications
* Monitor and respond to industry and search trends, including AI search developments and evolving LLM platforms
* Identify opportunities to improve discoverability across search engines and social media platforms
* Analyse content and campaign performance, translating data into actionable recommendations
* Manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards
* Develop internal processes to improve efficiency, consistency and content governance
* Mentor and support Marketing Executives, raising standards in copywriting, SEO and digital best practice
* Build strong working relationships with external agencies across PR, SEO and digital

Skills and Experience Required

* Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in SEO and content marketing
* Exceptional copywriting, editing and proofreading skills with outstanding attention to detail
* Strong understanding of SEO strategy, content optimisation and search intent
* Proven experience creating content across digital and offline marketing channels
* Confident managing website content using WordPress
* Experience using email marketing platforms and CRM systems
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and apply insights

Desirable

* Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO, link building and local SEO
* Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ubersuggest or similar tools
* Proven success in planning and delivering high-performing email marketing campaigns
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and website architecture
* Familiarity with wider digital channels, including paid search, organic and paid social
* Experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator
