Senior Oculoplastic Fellow – fixed‑term contract, commencing ASAP, at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. The role provides advanced training in the diagnosis and management of complex oculoplastic conditions, hands‑on experience in cataract surgery, and participation in national clinical trials under expert consultants.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage complex oculoplastic conditions.
* Perform cataract surgery under supervision.
* Participate in national clinical trials.
* Complete audit and quality improvement activities.
* Collate and present clinical data to the team.

Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
* GMC registration with licence to practice.
* Minimum of 6 years of specialty training (e.g., FRCP, FRCA, FRCS).
* Minimum of 1 year post‑CCT Oculoplastics experience.
Desirable Criteria
* Completed core curriculum training in Ophthalmology.
* Further qualifications.
* Research experience.
* Teaching experience.
* Experience managing general ophthalmic emergencies.
* Ability to perform unsupervised cataract surgery.
