We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental practice. Responsibilities
* Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
* Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising dental instruments in accordance with infection control standards
* Providing support to patients before, during, and after treatments, including explaining procedures and post-care instructions
* Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment information using IT systems
* Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and managing patient correspondence
* Upholding high standards of hygiene and organisation within the practice environment
* Communicating effectively with patients and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
* No prior experience necessary; full training will be provided for all duties involved
* Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate clearly with patients and team members
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and appointment management
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Excellent communication skills to reassure patients and work effectively within a team
* A caring attitude with an interest in patient care and nursing within a healthcare setting
