MOT Technician required in Newark
1. Basic Salary: £32,000, OTE: £36,000+
2. 5 Day work week
3. Working Hours : 42.5 Hour week
4. Saturdays (1 in 2) - with a day off in the week
I'm looking for a skilled vehicle technician who’s also qualified to carry out MOTs to join a busy, well-established garage with a strong reputation for quality and service. Key Responsibilities:
9. Carry out MOT testing in line with VOSA regulations.
10. Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs to cars.
11. Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, and electrical systems.
12. Replace worn or defective parts as needed.
13. Assist with tyre fitting and repairs when required.
14. Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Ideal Candidate:
15. Valid MOT Tester Certificate Essential
16. Full UK Driving Licence.
17. Level 3 Certificate in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (Level 2 with MOT considered)
18. At least 4 years’ experience in servicing and repairing cars.
19. Strong understanding of MOT testing standards.
20. Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and carry out high-quality repairs.
21. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
