Job summary 12 month Secondment opportunity The Procurement Department is seeking a motivated and forward thinking individual to play a key role in delivering a cost effective, efficient and responsive procurement service for the Trust. Working closely with the Clinical Procurement Nurse Lead, you will support the team in raising the profile of clinical procurement, ensuring it continues to add real value to patient care and the wider Trust. Main duties of the job The postholder will: Be part of the Clinical Procurement team, embedded in the StrategicProcurement team who undertake a pivotal role in delivering significant valueand cost improvement in a creative, strategic and innovative way relating tocommercial income and expenditure contracts in order to assist the Trust inmeeting its financial targets and objectives, alongside safe and effectivepatient care delivery.
