Are you a compassionate leader ready to shape the future of prison healthcare? We are seeking a Principal Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling) to lead our integrated Mental Health Team at HMP Garth, a Category B mens prison.
This isn't just a clinical role; its an opportunity to mentor a dedicated team (including a Clinical and Assistant Psychologist) and embed a trauma-informed model within a complex, rewarding environment.
The Impact Youll Make
* Lead & Develop: Manage and supervise junior psychological staff while evolving site-specific services.
* Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-level assessments, complex formulations, and 1:1/group interventions via the 'Making Sense' programme.
* Expert Guidance: Provide clinical oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) and deliver specialist training to prison and healthcare staff.
* Innovate: Contribute to audits, research, and service evaluations to ensure we constantly "do things better together."
