Dispatch Production Assistant, late shift Job description £30,814 per year - inclusive of 20% shift allowance Gateshead, on site 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 15:00-22:30) Permanent We're looking for a practical, detail-focused Dispatch Production Assistant to join our busy production team. You'll play a key role in producing and despatching accessible information, including braille, audio and large print, making sure our products meet agreed quality standards and turnaround times. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. You'll work with specialist production machinery and software, follow defined processes, and carry out quality checks across a range of accessible formats. You'll need to be organised, comfortable multi-tasking across different contracts, and confident working to deadlines while keeping accuracy and care at the heart of what you do. You'll work closely with colleagues across teams, support continuous improvement, and help maintain safe and secure working practices, including handling confidential information. From operating and maintaining equipment to final proofing and dispatch, you'll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering high-quality accessible products. We're looking for someone with experience in a production or customer-facing environment, who works well in a team, communicates clearly, and can prioritise their workload. Experience using production machinery, software and suggesting process improvements is important, along with a positive, flexible approach.
