People Operations Manager (Job Share: Wed–Fri)

c£60,000 FTE + package
We’re partnering with a privately owned, PE-backed Data Analytics & Infrastructure organisation to appoint a People Operations Manager as part of a job share within its dynamic and growing People team.
This Wednesday–Friday role is ideal for an experienced HR/People Operations professional who thrives on creating streamlined processes, elevating employee experience, and driving operational excellence. Working closely with your job-share partner and the People Director, you’ll co-own the full employee lifecycle, lead a small team, and ensure the People Operations function is compliant, efficient and continuously improving.
What you’ll be doing..
Employee Lifecycle & Experience
* Lead onboarding to offboarding, ensuring seamless employee transitions
* Deliver an engaging induction and maintain compliance across documentation
* Manage smooth HR-to-payroll handovers
Operational Excellence & HR Systems
* Own and optimise the HRIS, ensuring accurate, reliable data
* Drive automation and process improvement across People Ops
* Oversee SLAs, inboxes and day-to-day service delivery
Data, Insights & Reporting
* Support monthly Board reporting and key people metrics
* Lead statutory reporting, including Gender Pay Gap and diversity data
Reward & Benefits
* Administer benefits and support salary review and bonus cycles
* Collaborate with payroll and manage renewals
Recruitment Operations
* Oversee recruitment administration and manage a Recruitment Advisor
* Ensure an excellent end-to-end candidate experience
* Maintain recruitment systems and workflows
Team Leadership
* Line-manage two People Administrators and one Recruitment Advisor
* Build capability, drive development and foster service excellence
* Work collaboratively with your job-share partner for consistent leadership
Policy, Compliance & Vendor Management
* Maintain HR policies, support ISO audits and manage vendor relationships
* Support budget oversight and continuous improvement initiatives
What you’ll bring...
Essential
* Strong People/HR Operations experience
* Solid UK employment law knowledge
* HRIS management and process automation capability
* Reward & benefits experience (including strong Excel skills)
* Proven team leadership
* Highly organised, detail-focused and improvement-minded
* CIPD qualification
Desirable
* Experience in high-growth or PE-backed environments
* Exposure to change or integration projects
