About the Role
Sensor Dynamics UK is looking for a Technical Service Analyst to join our growing team. Based in our brand-new West Drayton office, you'll deliver hands-on technical and functional support for our UK customers while also assisting our colleagues and clients in Australia as part of our global service team.
Reporting to the UK Customer Service Manager, you'll work both independently and collaboratively to resolve issues, share knowledge, and ensure that our customers experience exceptional service at every step. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build expertise across a wide range of customer-facing products.
What You'll Do
* Act as the first point of contact for our customer calls and emails.
* Triage support cases, capturing all relevant information clearly and concisely.
* Independently manage cases, prioritising based on customer impact and SLA targets.
* Troubleshoot hardware and application issues (using logs, monitoring tools, and collaboration with IT, Developers, and Engineers).
* Carry out routine system and hardware maintenance tasks. Both at the customer site and remotely.
* Contribute to building and maintaining our Support Knowledge Base.
* Coordinate third-party contractors for onsite support when required.
* Participate in an on-call rotation.
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years of experience in a technical support or service role (or equivalent hands-on experience).
* Strong background in customer service, with the ability to resolve issues courteously and effectively.
* Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Basic knowledge of IP networking.
* Experience with Windows Operating environments.
* Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical users.
* Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Strong organisational and time management skills to balance competing priorities.
* Confidence in liaising with customers, vendors, and contractors.
* Ability to diagnose issues on remote hardware installations.
* Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills.
Nice to Have
* Experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes.
* Familiarity with Linux, cloud platforms, or SQL database environments
