Job description:
We are looking to recruit a committed and enthusiastic manager for our Specialist Care unit, caring for up to 12 people with physical disablement and or complex multiple needs, including learning disabilities. etc.
The role of the Manager will be to provide management and leadership to the home's team of care workers, under the general supervision of the Registered Manager.
You will be a proactive, self-starting team player who is a great communicator and confident in managing and motivating a care home team.

· Essential experience and qualifications
· Experience of managing and supervising teams of people
· Experience working with adults living with learning disability, physical disablement and or complex multiple needs
· Up-to-date with mandatory training
· Driving license
Essential skills:
· Ability to write fully Person centred care plans and risk assessments
· Ability to comprehensive monthly audits and action plan
· Ability to draw up and adjust rotas
· Ability to write clear and concise reports
· Good communication skills
· NVQ 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Registered Managers Award or similar qualifications required.
· Clear DBS essential.
· Must be fully conversant with and able to meet latest CQC regulations, NICE, National Care Standards etc.
