We're currently seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to help lead this new service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a person-centred setting and is ready to play a pivotal role in shaping a positive, empowering care culture from the very beginning. About the Role As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the highest standards of care are consistently delivered. In the absence of the Home Manager, you’ll take the lead, making critical decisions and guiding the team to success. You'll: Support care planning and carry out pre-admission assessments. Supervise, train, and mentor care staff, leading by example. Maintain strong relationships with families and professionals. Promote and embed a values-led Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model. Ensure records, safeguarding, and compliance are all of the highest standard. We're looking for someone who has: Proven experience as a Deputy Manager in a care home or similar setting. A deep understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding practices. Strong knowledge of CQC standards. The ability to lead, inspire, and support a team. A passion for creating meaningful outcomes for individuals with complex needs. You’ll be expected to model best practices in PBS and work closely with staff to ensure this approach is embedded throughout every aspect of care delivery. What’s in It for You?
