Role: Global Rankings & Insights Manager Department: Global Engagement Grade: 8 (£48,822 - £58,260) Responsible to: Head of Global Operations & Projects Campus: Belfast Closing Date: 10th December 2025 Reference: 039367 (Full-Time, Permanent) - ABOUT US - We are a university with a national and international reputation for excellence, innovation and regional engagement, making a major contribution to the economic, social and cultural development of Northern Ireland. Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The postholder will lead and coordinate Ulster Universitys engagement with global university rankings and related reputation initiatives, with an initial focus on the QS World University Rankings. This is a strategically significant role at the intersection of data, communications, and reputation management. It will drive institutional performance, raise Ulsters global profile, and support the Universitys ambition to strengthen its position as an internationally engaged and outward-looking institution. While QS will be the primary focus in the immediate term, the post will also play a pivotal role in developing Ulsters longer-term approach to global reputation, including enhancing visibility, evidencing impact, and supporting external engagement with other benchmarking and performance frameworks as these evolve. The Project Manager will act as the central point of coordination across faculties and professional services, ensuring coherence, collaboration, and momentum. The role demands initiative, analytical ability, and the confidence to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and external partners. - ABOUT YOU - - A bachelors degree (or equivalent Level 6 or higher qualification) in a relevant discipline such as business, communications, project management, or a related field - Significant experience managing large-scale, cross-functional, or strategic projects within a complex organisation - Experience in data management, performance analysis, or institutional reporting - Experience and demonstrated success in delivering projects or initiatives that improved organisational visibility, reputation, or performance Please find our employee benefits on our website.
