This is a full-time, permanent role based in Glasgow.
Purpose of the role
To design and implement programmes and initiatives that support the growth and development of the bank’s employees and leaders.
Accountabilities
* Develop and implement training and development programmes, including training sessions, workshops, and learning opportunities.
* Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to analyze current and future development needs.
* Design and deliver classroom and digital training content and programmes.
* Manage onboarding programmes, including training, materials, meetings, and support.
* Analyze data and metrics to measure success of talent development initiatives.
* Develop coaching, mentoring, and train-the-trainer programmes and materials.
* Implement talent pipelining processes, managing talent capability, succession, and career progression.
* Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and collaborate across functions.
* Lead a team in delivering impactful work, set objectives, coach, and appraise performance.
* Demonstrate leadership behaviours (Listen, Energise, Align, Develop) or lead collaborative assignments as an individual contributor.
* Consult on complex issues, support escalation resolution, and mitigate risks by developing policies and controls.
* Manage risks and strengthen controls related to the work.
* Coordinate with other areas to contribute to organizational objectives.
* Engage in complex data analysis to solve problems creatively.
* Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively.
* Influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
