Right now, we are looking for an Employment Specialist to play a pivotal role in our connect to work service in Harrow. Sounds great, what will I be doing? You will support a caseload of 20 – 25 clients to find competitive and sustained employment. Around 20% of referrals will be to assist clients to remain in work if struggling, or return to work, if off sick. Employment Specialists will follow the 8 principles of IPS, adhere to the IPS Fidelity Scale and achieve monthly targets and KPIs with the required administration and compliance. You have solid experience in mental health and employment support, understanding the needs of people with mental health conditions, disabilities, or other barriers to work. You communicate confidently with clients, partners, and stakeholders in person, by phone, and in writing. You can present effectively, promote services, and build strong working relationships that enable creative, client-focused solutions. You are highly organised, able to manage time, diaries, and competing priorities in an outcome-driven environment. You are competent in client assessment, action planning, accurate record-keeping, and using Microsoft Office and databases efficiently. When will I be working?
