This is a brilliant opportunity to join my client, a trusted, sustainably-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to projects across the engineering and environmental landscapes. They are currently searching for a keen, capable Senior Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on an array of projects across a variety of sectors, based near the cultural, picturesque city of Sheffield.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
Supervising a high-performing team of professionals
Producing hydraulic models and surveys
Checking colleagues' technical work
Analysing and interpreting data using a variety of software systems, preparing/checking/publishing technical documents
Supervising preparation of plans utilising MapInfo
Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
Acting as a trusted company representative at site visits and meetings
Managing projects and people
Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety measures at all times
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Hydrology or Civil Engineering (or a similar, relevant discipline)
Demonstrable experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK-based consultancy (or Local Authority)
Experience of wastewater modelling
Proficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages
Experience of liaising closely with a variety of clients and stakeholders
Full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
Possess Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this
Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
Working knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
