We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CMHT) to work full-time hours for our NHS client based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the UK, your responsibilities include providing expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents experiencing complex mental health issues. This involves leading and overseeing the development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. You will manage and support multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration between healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses.
Qualifications and Experiences:
* Full GMC licence to practice
* Specialist Register (CCT)
* Relevant previous experience in similar roles
* Section 12 approval
* Approved clinician status
* Own transport essential
