Are you a passionate about teaching in P.E. & looking to for a new position this term?
A fantastic, highly rated secondary school in South Birmingham are looking to recruit a full-time P.E. and Class Cover Teacher to join their supportive team from the start of the term in September 2025. To be considered you should be comfortable taking on a timetable which will include all year groups within the secondary range and ideally A-Level (KS5) classes also. The school is highly regarded for its pupil progress and Teacher support/ development. The school are looking to appoint for this role on a permanent basis, so any successful applicant will be at the forefront of the schools decision making process.
Experience/ willingness to cover other subjects within secondary education is desired by the school as part of the weekly time table may involve cover supervision.
The successful PE teacher will have:
QTS or a broad range of coaching qualifications and a relevant higher-level diploma
Experience in the sports coaching and/ or education sector
Have the ability to deliver high quality sport and physical activity sessions across the National Curriculum
Have a knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management and be able to implement strategies with a class of 30 children
