The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business.
This role would suit someone with a technical engineering background who enjoys customer interaction, solution selling and developing long-term client relationships. Working as part of a busy commercial team, you will support customers from initial enquiry through to quotation, order processing and account development.
Responsibilities
* Managing customer enquiries and preparing quotations
* Providing technical and commercial support
* Processing customer orders and maintaining CRM records
* Developing existing customer accounts and identifying new opportunities
* Working closely with external sales teams to maximise business opportunities
* Reviewing customer requirements and ensuring commercial objectives are achieved
* Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Requirements
* Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Previous experience within Internal Sales, Technical Sales or Sales Engineering
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
* Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office xsngvjr
* Ability to understand technical engineering products and specifications
Desirable
* Engineering manufacturing environment experience
* Valves, flow control or process industry exposure
* Oil & Gas industry experience
