The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of our dedicated full and part loads.

You will be engaged in a bustling transport office, collaborating closely with other staff members and customers.
2mv is a family-operated enterprise specializing in freight forwarding, operating a modern, environmentally friendly, and varied fleet that includes vehicles ranging from 3.5t rigid trucks to double-deck articulated trailers.
Our vehicles are equipped with tail lifts, tracking systems, cameras, and are curtain-sided.
We offer a variety of haulage services, including dedicated full and part loads, FORS, urgent same-day's, and partnered with three pallet networks – 'TPN', 'Hazchem', and 'Palletline', as well as global export and import services.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
Managing dedicated full and part loads, including special requirements for FORS, Hiabs, Flatbeds, etc.
Effective problem solving is essential, as logistics frequently present unexpected challenges, necessitating the ability to manage time-sensitive demands.
Overseeing the schedules of tramp drivers and sub contractors.
Delivering an efficient, responsive, and professional service when managing all incoming and outgoing communications with customers via calls and emails.
Maximizing the fleet's capabilities and understanding drivers' hours and regulations.
Scheduling jobs using specialized IT systems.
Complying with both company policies and legal requirements to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
Handling quoting, tracking, invoicing, and POD uploads.
Identifying partners nationwide to assist with our loads and vice versa.
Providing support in other departments.
Skills and experience we seek include:
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and maintain organization and methodical approaches; while the role involves teamwork, it is primarily independent, requiring you to manage your own workload.
· Experience in similar role / environment within a transport distribution company is a must
· Must be fully computer literate
· Administrative experience essential
· Good customer service skills and solutions orientated approach
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Must be able to work using own initiative and have a flexible, 'can-do' attitude
· Own means of transport
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
