ROLE: Technical Lead – Facilities Management
HOURS: 40 hours per week
LOCATION: London / Regional

We're looking for a Technical Lead who will provide expert technical leadership across building services, ensuring compliance, raising engineering standards, and supporting high‑quality operational delivery.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership across building services and engineering operations.
* Act as the subject matter expert for mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
* Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across all assets and activities.
* Support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance, reactive works, and lifecycle projects.
* Drive improvements in asset reliability, efficiency, and overall performance.
* Lead investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
* Mentor and guide engineers and on‑site teams to build technical capability.
* Review and approve technical documentation (RAMS, permits, procedures).
* Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to develop solutions and technical strategies.
* Identify risks and ensure safe systems of work across all technical activities.
Required Qualifications
* Relevant technical qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
* Recognised industry certifications (e.g., AP/LV or equivalent).
* Proven experience in a Technical Lead role within Facilities Management or Corporate Estates.
* Strong technical expertise in Mechanical & Electrical / Building Services.
* Good understanding of statutory compliance and Health & Safety regulations.
* Demonstrable experience managing technical risk and critical environments.
