The successful candidate will join a team of engineers working in the Films department and will support the following disciplines: PVD, Evaporation, CVD, ALD and ECD. The successful candidate will ideally have good knowledge of ALD or Evaporation as well as some experience with PVD, CVD or ECD systems. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of metrology equipment required to keep Films processes in SPC control.
This role will expand our team and will focus on change management, structured problem solving, process capability improvements and yield management. The role will be 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday.
Job responsibilities will include:
* Recipe development and optimisation at the Fab tool level
* Process tool ownership, including responsibility for documentation, training and tool performance monitoring
* Integration of tool recipes into the Process architecture
* Reporting progress to management at weekly and monthly intervals
* Specifying new tools, chemicals and techniques as required to meet the business objectives.
As well as your pure technical responsibilities you will need good communication skills as you will be interfacing with professionals from both inside and outside the company.
You will need:
* A degree in either Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or Engineering
* A current UK work visa.
* At least 5 years’ experience working in the Semiconductor Industry as a process engineer supporting the following deposition disciplines; ALD, Evaporation, PVD or CVD.

The successful candidate may be required to work some form of rotating day shift pattern (shift premium payable) after successful completion of a probation period.
