Corporate Reporting SupervisorWe are searching for an experienced Corporate Reporting SupervisorMake an Impact at RSM UK The National Finance Office is a team of approximately 80 people, split over various locations. They are responsible for supporting the firm with all financial aspects of the day to day running, including supplier payments, payroll, commercial finance support and financial and statutory accounting to name a few.
We are looking for a Corporate Reporting Supervisor to join our Corporate Reporting team in Preston. This team is responsible for the financial statements, technical accounting judgements and taxation reporting, among other tasks. The team work with our external auditors, HMRC and a wide range of people within the finance function and the wider firm.
You’ll make an impact by:
1. Drafting and reviewing financial statements
2. Preparing technical accounting papers to support key judgement areas of the accounting
3. Completing various balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing reconciliations prepared by the team
4. Completing and/or supporting with preparation of various taxation returns and submissions including but not limited to VAT, employment taxes and corporation tax. Ensuring the firm is compliant with rules and regulations.
5. Playing a lead role in managing risk, ensuring the team’s output complies with both regulatory and internal standards, ensuring processes and controls are documented

6. Proficient in Excel (understanding of pivot tables, vlookup, sumif etc. as a minimum)
7. Experience with Microsoft Great Plains, Workday and SAP Concur – expense and invoice, but not essential
8. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Self-motivated and able to show initiative
11. A minimum of 3 years practical experience
