Why This Role Matters
We are seeking a talented and imaginative Senior Copywriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a confident strategic thinker and have the ability craft compelling copy that engages, persuades, and drives results across various platforms and audiences. The role will sit in the inhouse Creative Studio and work closely with our Marketing, Creative and Specialist Departments to develop original content and brand messaging that captures Christie's tone of voice and resonates with our target audience. Working across a board range of deliverables and marketing campaigns, the role will craft copy for multichannel purposes including but not limited to social, printed collateral, digital, exhibitions and sales titles.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Develop a clear, persuasive, and original copy for campaigns, digital ads, websites, social media, product descriptions, emails, and more
* Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to bring creative concepts to life
* Interpret creative briefs to develop and deliver creative concepts
* Ensure Christie’s tone of voice and style is adhered to across different channels
* Edit and proofread copy to ensure high copy standards and consistency
* Conduct research to support messaging strategies and understand target audiences
* Stay up to date on trends in the art market to keep content fresh and innovative
* Take part in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas and strategies
* Craft industry leading copy to support multi-channel campaigns
* Understand Christie’s campaign strategy and objectives, creative concepts and key messages
* Align all marketing content for seamless client journeys across platforms.
* Developing strong cross-departmental relationships with the marketing strategy and specialists throughout Christie’s
What you’ll bring to the team
* 5+ Years working in a Creative Studio, Brand or Agency (luxury preferred)
* BA or MA degree in English Literature, Art History, or related field
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
* Excellent understanding of grammar, tone, and storytelling
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Ability to in a reactive environment with fast turnaround times
* Excellent research and writing skills, including exceptional grammar and attention to detail
* Enthusiastic about art and the luxury market
* Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles and formats
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, or UX writing is a plus
