About the role:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Recorder to join our logistics and distribution team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that finished products are securely and efficiently prepared for transport and storage, as well as maintaining accurate records of production output.
Key responsibilities:
· Referring to the pallet specification, build sound pallets of finished product enabling safe transport to the Warehouse for pallet wrapping.
· Complete all relevant paperwork and record details of all finished product generated by the shift.
· Open and repackage rejected packed product. Ensure the good housekeeping of the packing floor area.

Essential Skills
· Attention to detail – crucial for accurate record-keeping and ensuring pallets are built to specification.
· Basic literacy and numeracy – to complete paperwork and understand production documentation.
· Physical stamina – ability to lift, move, and stack products safely and efficiently.
· Organizational skills – to maintain a clean and orderly packing floor and manage multiple tasks during a shift.
· Teamwork and communication – working closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
· Problem-solving – identifying issues with rejected products and repackaging them appropriately.
Preferred experience:
· Experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution environments, particularly in roles involving packing, palletizing, or inventory recording.
· Familiarity with production lines or manufacturing settings, especially where finished goods are handled and prepared for dispatch.
· Hands-on experience with pallet building and wrapping, ideally following specific pallet specifications.
· Previous exposure to quality control tasks, such as identifying and repackaging rejected products.
Experience maintaining accurate production records, including paperwork and digital logs.
