Job Title: GCSE Science TutorLocation: Thamesmead, LondonPay Rate:£25-£35 per hour Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible Hours
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging tuition across GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
* Consolidate KS3 knowledge while introducing key GCSE concepts to strengthen exam prep.
* Personalise lesson plans to target gaps in understanding and build learner confidence.
* Support students with SEN by adapting teaching methods to ensure accessibility and motivation.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience in Science at KS3/GCSE level.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Must have, or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
Desired
* QTS or a Science related degree.
* Experience preparing students for GCSE exams.
* Experience supporting learners with SEN.
