We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Community Safety & Enforcement Manager to join our dynamic Community Safety Team. As the Community Safety and Enforcement Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership to Parking, Enforcement, ASB and CCTV Teams and have suitable experience delivering high quality frontline services, in line with council statutory functions and utilising all available legal tools and ensuring compliance with legislative requirement.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage Parking services inclusive of issue of Blue Badges, processing of parking fines and associated appeals.
* Ensure the fair and effective application of enforcement relating to parking, fly tipping, littering and dog fouling.
* Manage the council’s CCTV function including adherence to Information Commissioner guidance including all public space and building assets cameras.
* Manage the delivery of the council ASB service including application of Acceptable Behaviour Agreements and neighbour nuisance resolution as well as application of ASBI, CBO and Closures.
* Ensure compliance with all corporate and service standards.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in management of Enforcement or Community Safety function.
* Strong understanding of Legislation including Environmental Protection Act, ASB, Crime & Policing Act, and Clean Neighbourhoods & Environment Act.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
