Job Description
Motus Truck & Van have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and customer-oriented Mercedes-Benz Van Service Advisor to join their fabulous team in Thurrock.

What will you be doing?
* Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to our Van service department
* Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues
* Utilize your mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
* Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes
* Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle
* Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
* Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process
* Handle cash/card transactions and maintain accurate records of payments
Hours:
You are required to work Monday to Friday with the shift patterns below:
Week one: 06:30am - 15:00pm
Week two: 08:00am - 16:30pm
Week three: 10:00am - 18:30pm
Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus company bonus
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have:
* The ability to produce work to a very high standard
* A team player mentality
* An awareness of Health and Safety procedures/policies
* Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting
* Strong upselling skills and the ability to effectively communicate the value of additional services or products
* Solid mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions
* Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining financial records
* Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
