Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role?
A welcoming SEND School in Hendon is looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis to start ASAP.
The Role
The pupil is a 12-year-old male. This pupil displays behaviours that challenge but can also be very anxious.
The pupil also displays signs of PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), which is characterized by an extreme avoidance of everyday demands and an anxiety-driven need to be in control. PDA is sometimes known as Extreme Demand Avoidance.
The school is looking for someone who can maintain behaviour and boundaries while encouraging the pupil to participate and engage in lessons.

The School
The school is a welcoming SEND setting that supports children and young people aged 4 to 19. It promotes a love for learning through a rich curriculum and extended activities. Minimum Requirements
* Experience working with children with SEN
* The ability to commit to a full-time role for the full academic year
