An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Property/Evidence Management Support in the Criminal Justice Department.
Responsibilities
* Use PMS/Niche and bar‑coding equipment to record, audit, move, review and store all property/evidence and crime exhibits, including large quantities of high‑value drugs, cash and firearms, ensuring evidential integrity for prosecution.
* Travel to any force location to move property/evidence, updating its current location in PMS/Niche at all times and maintaining a full audit trail of movements; ensure the security and integrity of each item during transit.
* During the review process, determine whether to retain, return to owner or dispose of items using relevant policies and legislation; then apply the appropriate route in compliance with Property/Evidence Management working practices and Health and Safety requirements.
