A large IT Managed Service Provider is looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Engineer to work with their end client in Hull. You'll play a key role in keeping people connected and productive - installing and maintaining hardware, supporting software deployments, and resolving day-to-day technical issues on-site and remotely.
What you'll do:
* Install and configure desktops, laptops, phones, and peripherals
* Support Windows-based systems and approved software packages
* Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and AV conferencing systems
* Handle firmware updates, patches, and security remediation
* Manage mobile devices and coordinate with third-party vendors
* Assist with moves, changes, and disaster recovery tests

* Proven experience in IT or desktop support
* Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and hardware setup
* Experience with Active Directory, antivirus tools, and remote support
