Job Description
* Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and approvals.
* Reconcile supplier statements to maintain up-to-date financial records.
* Respond promptly to supplier queries and resolve discrepancies effectively.
* Assist in preparing payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
* Maintain the purchase ledger system with accurate and current data.
* Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc duties as needed.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
* Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
