Joining our Operations team, the Repair Workshop Lead will play a key hands-on role in building and running a high-quality repair workshop that supports our stores and customers. You will be responsible for day-to-day workshop operations and ensuring repairs are delivered efficiently, consistently and to the highest standard. This is an exciting opportunity for a structured, self-starter who enjoys working in a practical environment and takes pride in quality. You will have the autonomy to shape processes, improve workflows and develop the operation as we grow this capability across our business. This role is based in our Peterborough o ffice, with 4 days onsite and 1 day from home. Key Responsibilities Managing the day-to-day operations of the repair workshop, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely delivery of cleans and repairs. Ensuring all repairs meet Mountain Warehouse quality standards through robust quality control checks. Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers regarding clean and repair services, timelines and queries. Maintaining workshop equipment, tools and materials, ensuring all resources are well-organised and fit for purpose. Managing stock levels and ordering consumables as required. Creating and maintaining a safe, clean and efficient working environment in line with health and safety standards. Identifying opportunities to improve processes, productivity and service quality in line with our sustainability and customer experience goals. Monitoring workshop performance, including output, costs and service levels, and contributing to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. We Would Like To Meet Someone Who Is Proven experience in a workshop, dry-cleaners, retail operations or similar environment, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of garment cleaning and repairs techniques. Experience managing and developing teams in a hands-on operational setting. A structured, organised approach with the ability to balance quality, efficiency and customer needs. Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with both operational teams and customers. A strong eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. Confidence managing equipment, materials and day-to-day operational challenges. A proactive mindset with the ambition to grow and help shape a developing area of the business.
