What you’ll be doing
1. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast based on customer needs and plan supporting logistics. Lead the governance and reporting processes to enable effective asset capitalisation. Manage end-to-end workflows for equipment lifecycle activities—including returns and refurbishment—to drive cost efficiency and support sustainability goals.
2. Leading initiatives to improve cost transparency across the product portfolio, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into expenditures. Identifying and implementing cost optimisation strategies by analysing operational processes, supplier agreements, and delivery models.
3. Working with Product, Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams to align on commercial goals, share insights, and drive collective value.
4. Establish and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate progress to senior leadership. Deliver commercial insights and strategic recommendations that shape product roadmaps, investment cases, and go-to-market strategies.
5. Championing continuous improvement, embedding a culture of commercial excellence and value optimisation across the product organisation.
Experience needed to be successful in the role
Advanced Analytical & Reporting Skills
Proficient in Excel and BI tools (QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau), with the ability to simplify complex data and present actionable insights.
Commercial Acumen & Strategic Thinking
Skilled in balancing cost-saving initiatives with revenue opportunities and supporting strategic decisions through commercial analysis.
Proven Delivery in Fast-Paced Environments
Demonstrated success in driving measurable customer and commercial outcomes, particularly in roles focused on cost optimisation and value delivery.
Stakeholder Influence & Cross-Functional Leadership
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Sector & Methodology Experience
Background in telecoms, technology, or digital services, with familiarity in agile methodologies, product-led organisations, and strategic planning.
