Head of Credit & Risk- AdmiTrade. Position Overview.
We are seeking an experienced Head of Credit & Risk to design and implement AdmiTrade's credit, counterparty, and liquidity risk frameworks tailored to an OTC crypto trading environment. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on role ideal for a self-starter who deeply understands risk management in crypto and OTC markets. The Senior Risk Officer will report directly to the executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's risk culture.

So far, we have focused on providing liquidity for centralized exchanges, building the necessary technology, and validating the market.
We are now embarking on the next phase of our growth by building a platform for institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals that offers access to significant depth, dynamic credit lines, and passive capital multiplication methods. Additionally, our goal is to increase our activity as a market maker on centralized exchanges and expand into decentralized markets.

Responsibilities:
Credit Risk Framework
* Design and implement a credit risk assessment model for counterparties (e.g., exchanges, brokers, institutional clients).
* Define and document the firm’s credit risk appetite and credit policies.
* Develop onboarding procedures, including credit scoring, limit setting, and documentation requirements.
* Establish and manage ongoing credit exposure monitoring, including margin sufficiency, PFE, and stress limits.
Counterparty & Market Risk
* Monitor and manage counterparty exposure, including netting arrangements and collateral management.
* Define and maintain counterparty limits, monitor breaches, and escalate as needed.
* Track and assess the firm’s market risk exposure with a focus on concentrations and correlation.
* Contribute to trading strategy input from a risk perspective.
Liquidity Risk Oversight
* Evaluate liquidity risks arising from margin calls, large client trades, or internal funding mismatches.
* Set and monitor liquidity coverage ratios or buffers appropriate for the business model.
* Ensure coordination between treasury and trading to match inflows/outflows with risk tolerances.
Loans Management
* Manage loans from both external lenders and internal borrowers, including monitoring terms, collateral, exposure, and repayment risks.
* Establish frameworks for assessing creditworthiness, monitoring loan conditions, and handling events of default or early repayment.
Risk Tools & Reporting
* Design and implement internal tools or dashboards to monitor credit exposure, counterparty limits, market risk, and liquidity metrics.
* Support the automation of manual monitoring processes over time.
* Produce weekly/monthly risk reports for management.
Policy and Governance
* Draft the firm’s initial Risk Management Policy, including key principles and escalation paths.
* Collaborate with compliance/legal on risk-related governance matters.
* Participate in new product assessments, ensuring risks are defined and acceptable.
What you bring to the table:
* 5–7 years of experience in risk management or credit analysis within crypto trading or OTC environments.
* Deep understanding of credit and liquidity risk concepts, particularly under collateralized bilateral agreements.
* Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Python, SQL, or risk engines (or willingness to build/automate with tech support).
* Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain risk concepts to senior leadership.
* Knowledge of crypto custody structures, on-chain risk dynamics, and cross-exchange counterparty exposure.

Interview Process:
1. Screening Interview – Introductory call with Talent Acquisition Partner (45–60 min). Focus: background, motivation, experience overview.
2. Risk & Strategy Deep Dive – Interview with AdmiTrade’s CEO and Head of Trading (90 min). Focus: credit frameworks, counterparty and liquidity risk management, strategic fit.
3. Final Interview – Deep-dive discussion with CEO, including expectations alignment and offer discussion.
