Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician and Mot Tester to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- Repair and replace vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles are in compliance with safety standards
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience with vehicle assembly, repair, and maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills-
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
