Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with a passion for finance? I am looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic Finance & Business team within a well-established organisation operating across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and distribute sales invoices, liaising with internal colleagues and external customers to resolve queries.
* Support purchase ledger and expense processing, including invoice verification, approval, and digital filing.
* Communicate effectively with team members to resolve invoice-related issues and escalate concerns where necessary.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across sales and purchase ledgers.
Essential:
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
* Proven experience in an administrative role.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Proficiency in IT systems including Excel and Outlook.
* GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with business operations and financial systems.
* Experience using Sage 200.
