Paignton Academy is seeking a committed and compassionate School First Aider to oversee the care of pupils who are unwell, injured, or require medication or support during the school day. The successful candidate will: Provide immediate first aid and make informed decisions about the appropriate course of action. Liaise effectively with Academy staff to ensure pupils receive timely and appropriate care. Maintain accurate records in line with Academy procedures. This role also contributes to the wider pastoral provision within the Academy, including offering mentoring support for pupils when required. Training can be arranged for candidates who do not currently hold a first aid qualification, and relevant qualifications can be gained upon appointment. Working Arrangements Paignton Academy operates across two sites; while the post is based at one site, there may be occasions where you are required to work at the other. Why Join Us?
