You will be working in the Infrastructure OU in where we are currently looking for a Assistant Office Manager who will support the Site Administration Manager and wider project team in the effective day to day operation of the site offices and welfare facilities during the mobilisation and delivery phases of the project, ensuring a safe, professional and well organised working environment. This role will be based at our Lower Thames Crossing project in Gravesend.
The Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) is one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. LTC is a new road that will connect Kent and Essex through a tunnel beneath the River Thames and will be the greenest road ever built in the UK - creating six times more green space than road. The reliable new route will almost double road capacity over the river east of London to reduce congestion and give millions of people more choice on where they live, work and spend their valuable time.

As the Assistant Office Manager, you will:
1. Provide day to day administrative support to the project leadership, operational teams and Site Administration Manager.
2. Act as deputy to the Site Administration Manager when required, supporting continuity of office operations and site administration activities.
3. Support the management and coordination of temporary office accommodation, welfare facilities, meeting rooms and stores.
4. Assist with office mobilisation, relocations and demobilisation activities as the project evolves into permanent compounds.
5. Maintain office supplies, stationery, PPE stock and welfare consumables, ensuring availability and cost effective control.
6. Raise purchase requisitions and support goods receipting activities using Skanska’s Oracle ERP system.
7. Coordinate document control activities including scanning, filing, archiving and maintaining accurate project records.
8. Support onboarding activities for new starters, visitors and supply chain partners, including inductions and site access administration.
We are looking for:
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, organisation and communication skills.
10. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
11. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
12. Experience within an administration or office support role, ideally in construction or infrastructure environments.
13. Knowledge of Oracle ERP or similar systems would be advantageous.
