Surrey and border is looking for a candidate who is passionate about ensuring a high quality holistic approach to the care and support provided to people with ADHD in the community. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care needs of people with ADHD who use our services as well as mentor, supervise and teach staff. General shift timings: Monday to Friday from 9AM to 5PM Working hours: 37.5 hours Per week To ensure the healthcare needs of people with ADHD are communicated to the appropriate manager, professional lead, or care practitioner. To advocate for and represent the service in professional and divisional contexts. To contribute to the development and implementation of policies, protocols, and care pathways. To assist with staff recruitment, induction, and contribute to wider workforce planning. To support initiatives that address the needs of people with protected characteristics within local services and future developments. To actively participate in the induction, education, and supervision of students and junior staff. To research, audit, and benchmark practice against national standards, ensuring services remain up to date with best practice. To develop, implement, and monitor interventions linked to government initiatives (e.g. Transforming Care, LD Mortality Review). To design and deliver specialist teaching/training packages for multidisciplinary teams.
