Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist/ Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
* Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
* Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using practice management software
* Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and directing enquiries appropriately
* Handle patient check-in and check-out processes accurately and courteously
* Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality at all times
* Process payments and organise billing procedures in line with practice policies
* Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
* Assist with administrative duties such as filing, correspondence, and managing stock levels of office supplies
* Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-organised
Requirements
* Previous office or administrative experience is essential, ideally within a healthcare setting
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Friendly and professional demeanour with a patient-focused approach
* Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
* Proficiency in using office software programmes such as Microsoft Office or similar applications
* Knowledge of dental practice management software is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities
