Area Cleaning Manager - Hampshire

The Role:
* Job title: Area Cleaning Manager.
* Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire.
* Hours: 40 hours per week.
* Salary package: £30,900 p.a. plus company van.
* The area: You will look after around 50 sites for Hampshire County Council, including libraries, country parks and activity centres. Most of the sites will be located in the North and East of Hampshire (Fareham, Portsmouth, Havant, Petersfield, Farnborough, Basingstoke area).
As one of our Area Cleaning Managers in Hampshire, you will make sure the cleaning operations on your sites run smoothly and to budget. Your area will consist of libraries, country parks, activity centres and other sites for Hampshire County Council across Hampshire. You will be responsible for looking after your team of about 50 cleaners on the different sites in your area.
Your role will be to ensure that your team has all the skills and tools they need to thrive in their job to provide clean, hygienic and safe environments for the building users. This includes recruiting, onboarding, and training your team as well as looking after their motivation, wellbeing, and performance. You will also be responsible for ordering the stock for each site, carrying out regular site audits and completing timesheets to make sure everyone is paid correctly every month.
You will report into the Service Manager for the area.
