SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Eastfield, North Yorkshire
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP / January 2026
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support learners with complex additional needs in a specialist provision based in Eastfield. This role is ideal for a candidate passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 or small-group support
* Follow personalised learning programmes
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Assist teaching staff with resource preparation
* Encourage confidence, independence and engagement
Requirements
* Experience supporting children with SEND
* Strong understanding of autism or SEMH needs
* Patience, empathy and resilience
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
