Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Part 1 Architectural Assistant to gain hands-on experience across diverse projects in retail, cinema, leisure, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will assist in the design and development of architectural projects from concept through to completion. Duties
* Support senior architects with design development and project delivery.
* Produce drawings and presentations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
* Assist with surveys, research, and concept design.
* Collaborate with the wider team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
* Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
* Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements and present design concepts.
* Support the team in various aspects of construction documentation and system design.
Experience
* A recently qualified Part 1 with strong design and technical ability.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
* Enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive approach.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Familiarity with construction processes, CAD standards, and schematic development is highly desirable.
* Previous experience or internships within an architectural firm is highly advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
